Our cremation urns range from garden benches, jewelry, bird houses, planters, or even an animal for the outdoorsman. Steve Rhule of Buffalo Mountain Studios can turn your idea into a piece of art you can spend the rest of your life admiring. We’re always creating and adding new cremation urns to our collection with a few goals in mind, create one-of-a-kind urns, add beauty to your space, and to put a smile on your face!

Every art piece is handcrafted with reclaimed or renewable materials. Creek stone, recycled glass, hand made papers, hand carved birch wood, and copper to name a few. With a special individual in mind, each piece is hand cut, assembled, and painted in the Buffalo Mountain Studio. All art pieces are designed to hold the crematory remains or be a casting piece for that special loved one or pet.

Meet The Artist

The farm, as we call it, is the perfect place for creative freedom and inspiration. Settled on 136 acres in the Cumberland Mountains of East Tennessee, God’s natural beauty abounds here. I gather a lot of my inspiration from his creation, and transform what is already there into what I like to think of as God’s art. He makes most of it, I simply transform it into something useful. Wildlife on the farm flourishes with fields planted for deer, elk, and turkey. Wild flower meadows filled with birds, bugs, and yes, snakes. These creatures of the wild, along with Mike the shop dog provide much entertainment. Nights on the back porch with star filled skies, is the perfect way to recharge. If you ever stop by, you’ll usually hear music filling the air or elk bugling and frogs singing their songs.
